Our Patients, Public and Community training course welcomes anyone who uses or comes into contact with our services or the services of our community partners, to get involved and work with us to make positive improvements.

About the course

EXPLORE

The course will provide participants with an introduction to Solent NHS Trust, the services it offers, and some of the basic principles of Quality Improvement. It will also cover some techniques for influencing and working with Solent clinical teams.

Co-designed QI patient training

At Solent NHS Trust we run a QI training programme, developed to equip our staff with the confidence and skills to identify and carry out improvement projects in the services they work in.

Core to the vision for our QI training programme, projects should be delivered in partnership with patients, families, carers and other members of our communities. This is why, we have people who use our services on most of our QI project teams. Some of the patients who took part in QI projects, asked for their own introductory training, and so this module has been co-designed with them.
