Overview
This project aims to understand the role of non-pharmacological interventions in reducing weight gain caused by antipsychotic medication in people with Severe Mental Illness (SMI)
Inclusion criteria
People living with SMI (schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder and all other non-organic psychoses)
Currently taking or have previously taken antipsychotic medication
Experience of weight gain associated with antipsychotics or related issues
Age 18+
Exclusion criteria
Lacks capacity to consent
People without SMI
Children less than 18 years old
What is involved?
Video conferencing interview
People interviewed will be offered £30 gift voucher as a thank you.
