ARCHIE
The ARCHIE study would like to find out if giving an antibiotic called co-amoxiclav to 'at risk' children (aged 6 months to 12 years) early on when they have flu or a flu-like illness might help stop them from developing bacterial infections and becoming more unwell.
The research would also like to explore if the co-amoxiclav would help them get better more quickly or affect how well antibiotics work against similar infections in the future.
This study has now closed to recruitment
