Do you have a passion for reducing the carbon footprint of the NHS? Maybe you have ideas, but you're not sure how to implement them? Then our Greener NHS QI Practitioner programme is for you and your team. Designed to support green sustainability using improvement approaches.

What it provides:

Support and encouragement to teams to deliver green initiatives
Learning about QI methods and approaches
Dedicated time and focus on your green initiative
Opportunity to work alongside likeminded colleagues

What it involves:

Support and agreement from your service line manager
Four days of externally facilitated workshops, commencing in April 2023
Working together with patients and people to make a sustainable green initiative

What it includes:

Change management
Green measurement
Sustainability
Patient/people participation

Example:

Return and reuse equipment
Decreasing single use products
Drones delivering vital chemotherapy to the IOW
Change to powder-based inhalers
